My wife and I love the table. It’s pretty easy to fold/unfold. Another thing that is super convenient about the table is that we can store 14 balls and 4 paddles on the table itself because of the ball/paddle storage spots. This means we don’t have to go running around to find the balls and paddles every time we play, and we’ve lost very few balls because of this. Also, we love that we don’t have to set up the net every time we open it up because the mechanism is built-in. Altogether, we are very pleased, and we hope we can get a good 10 to 20 years out of it. The only issue we have is when we bring it inside after using it, it’s wider than the doors to the guest room we leave it in, which means we have to bring it in at an angle. We thoroughly enjoy the Cornilleau 500M outdoor ping pong table. It’s well design is sturdy and convenient. The table has corner protectors to protect young toddlers from injuring themselves, a huge attraction of this unit. It also has places to hold ping pong balls, both in the center and and the ends of the table. The center console also provides a place for paddles. Another very good feature of this mode is the center handle to lift up the table over the garage floor lip. They thought of everything for this model. We also got the cover and it fits very well. The only concern we had was the screws that connect the aluminum legs to the plastic mold does not screw all the way in. It hangs about 1/4 of an inch out. It is livable but other than that the assembly went pretty easily and smoothly. Yes, the table is all set up and it’s been great. The assembly process was slow but the video was helpful. There were a few part numbers that disagreed between the video and the manual. At first I thought I was missing some parts until I noticed the different part numbers in the manual. The key is to watch a step in the video and then confirm part numbers and part orientation with the manual before proceeding. For some of the asymmetric parts it was difficult to tell the part orientation in the video but was more clear in the manual. Step 9 in the manual was the trickiest. There is a fair amount of tension to get the leg pieces to screw together, enough so that I triple checked step 7 to make sure I assembled the leg pieces correctly. It was helpful to have an impact wrench to screw them together. The playing surface is great with a nice rebound and the solo play works very well. The collapsing process is quick and simple and the mechanism has a nice positive feel. It’s also easy to roll around on the large casters. Overall the table has a sturdy feel to it, which wasn’t obvious when I first took all the individual parts out of the box. But once assembled it’s very stable and has a nice heft to it. We already discussed the delivery process, not much you can do there. Just be prepared to unbox it where they drop it and carry the individual pieces to where you plan to assemble it. We mostly keep it outside, rolling it out into the open air on our patio when we want to play and keeping it under the cover of our elevated porch at night. We’re getting into fall here in WI so lately it’s stayed on the section of patio under the elevated porch since the trees are dropping leaves and debris – still enough space to play. When rain is coming I simply fold it up and wheel it inside the basement door. Again with the folding mechanism and large wheels it’s very easy. I also found that I can fit it through the doorway in our basement to where we have a large semi finished mechanical room. So once the weather turns cold I could wheel it in there for use if we didn’t want it out in the finished part of the basement. Attached are some pics, not the best weather day today. Overall the table has exceeded my expectations, very happy with it. I don’t think I would have found this make / model if not for your site (Lake Geneva WI)

We’ve had our Cornilleau 500M (Blue) table for a few weeks now, the delivery guys were great, by the way, and have a couple of comments/questions. The assembly was reasonably straight forward, kept us busy for a few hours. The only comment was getting to the end of assembling all the quality components we had to attach the cover over the attachment points of the carrying handle with two screws that were pushed and tightened to the plastic center section. They were not very securely attached and we ended up over tightening and stripping the holes. A trip to the hardware store got us matching bolts and nylon lock nuts to make it match the quality of the rest of the table. (Fort Lauderdale FL)

Love the table. First outdoor table I’ve ever owned and am impressed with ball bounce. Set up was a little complicated at times. Had to back track a few times. The written directions in the box were at times different from the video link you sent. Part numbers were sometimes different too. The biggest issue was how much to torque certain screws/nuts. We love the convenience and appearance of this table and wait until pretty late in the evening with lights put out to see to play a game or two due to the heat here in Arizona. All the features you mention in the video shouldn’t be ignored….it does make a huge difference to have a table fold conveniently for storage and the net drops down and stays intact. The ball and paddle holders on the sides and at the playing ends are fantastic. The only downside for us “senior” purchasers is it was a bit complex (and heavy) when you were putting the table pieces together. The directions weren’t very clear but we muddled through it. We did go back to the video to check on a few items and that helped but that was the only issue that we had. Can’t wait until the cooler months arrive as we will use this as our “night-cap” activity to close out the game. (Phoenix AZ)

It took a little tinkering to get the legs pieces attached; I found that keeping the nuts and bolts loose until everything was together made it much easier to get it all lined up. Not a complaint at all, just figure you could pass this info along to future customers. The table came delivered without any damage and with the help of a neighbor we set it up within a few hours. Struggled with one part, but eventually figured out we weren’t putting a post in a slot the proper way. Too bad none of the videos we were watching come with audio narration. Anyways, the table is great and we are using it a ton! My 11 year old and 13 year old can fold and unfold it all by themselves. And I feel safe their fingers aren’t going to get injured. It gets lots of attention with our neighbors little kids running around outside so the padded corners also gives me comfort. My only gripe thus far, is that the cover collects water, almost like a water trough right along the top spine. The cover drops in and creates a trough where the two halves fold together and leaves a gap. So water naturally wants to collect. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I’m thinking of using come rounded piece of plastics so the cover is convex at the top. (SUMMIT, NJ)

The table has been fantastic. While we are just novice & intermediate players, we are glad to have sprung for such a nice table. The play of table surface is very consistent. The table is easy to set-up and to stow-away. The family & friends have really enjoyed the table so far. I still need to get a cover for the table and need to do some research on products. On a separate note, we do not care for the Cornilleau outdoor bats. It is great that they are able to take the outdoor elements, but we prefer the play of a wooden “indoor” bat that has rubber with more control. We just need to ensure that they get stored indoors and do not ever sit outside! We will give the outdoor bats to the kids whey they get a chance to play. There has been one defect to note with the table, however. It is luckily just an accessory part. One of the orange ball distributor’s has cracked. Not sure when, why or how, but I will need to get a replacement one day.
